Have you ever been smooched by a cat? If not, allow me to be the first. My name is Pam, and although I'm very young, I've had quite the eventful life so far. I was found as a stray with a whole litter of babies when I was hardly more than a kitten myself. Luckily, I landed with Second Chance and got to raise my family in a foster home! Now that my kittens are old enough to be adopted, I'm looking for my forever home too. And the family who decides to adopt me will be a very lucky one indeed! I'm as sweet as can be, and I love to talk to people (especially if they talk back) as well as give kisses. Being so young, I'm still just as playful as my own babies; I hope my new forever home loves to play as much as I do. When we're done playing, we can take a nap in the sun together. Sound good? ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come to our adoption center during business hours. Appointments are not required. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
